Abstract:

Each text is functional of a discourse or interaction with some discourses. Every owner of discourse with linguistic rules to events and facts surrounding the meaning of content production. From this perspective, the text of Nahj Albalaghah is the discourse of Imam Ali (AS) that are formed on different levels and with different linguistic structures. In this study the analysis of work patterns in the field of discourse analysis and its adaptation toNahj has been contributed to clarify that On the one hand, the discourse of Imam in relation to the other discourses has more competition, transparency, inclusiveness. On the other hand, the language of geometry and knowledge of this discourse, of which several sides as the findings of this study can be used, such as the proper use of the common concepts and terms of time; diversity of goals and purposes in use of language; the high power of communication between Imam and others; drawing of the fundamental policies of the society from the heart of different events; diversity of speech action in order to multi plicity the audience and the differ rence of situation; and every reality of true thinking and belief. it refers to the purpose & function of competing discourse; direction of the people and society towards the dominant patterns of individual and social life. Abstract:

Imam Hassan’ s (Peace be upon him) making peace with Mu'aviyah is one of the most controversial historical events from which different interpretations have been made. Some consider it an honorable act in the face of opponents as well as a kind of wise political negotiation that has certain principles and criteria, while others consider it a passive and weak act. In the research, by explaining the meaning and components of political negotiation and an overview of the accounts of Imam Hassan’ s (AS) conciliatory talks with Mu'aviyah, in a comparative study of the characteristics of political negotiation with the dominant features and conditions of this conciliation process, it becomes evident that these debates are a type of political negotiation with the opponents and are based on specific principles and criteria. Examining the valid historical and narrative sources related to this process by using a descriptive-analytical method, the study investigates Imam Hassan’ s (AS) most important principles and criteria of conciliation negotiations with Mu'aviyah, by pointing to time, in the divided forms of "pre-negotiation", "the negotiation itself" and "post-negotiation" principles. Finally, although Imam Hassan (Peace be upon him) agreed to negotiate according to the interests of his time, they had principles and rules in peace negotiations.

Abstract:

Ignoring the Oriental narrative for institutional domination and overcoming its resistance as the opposite party of the West has formed the framework of post-colonial domination. The attitude towards the conflict between Iran and the West over the nuclear issue in the form of this approach is something that has received less attention and research so far. Therefore, with the aim of understanding why the agreement in the 13th government was long and at the same time difficult, this research raises the question; How has the West's post-colonial attitude towards Iran's nuclear issue affected the decision-making pattern of the Raisi’s government? The findings of the research showed that the West's attitude towards Iran's nuclear challenge from the point of view of post-colonialism caused Raisi’s government to look at them as the opposite party of Iran with the same actions as in the past, and as a result, it caused the predominance of the model of early recognition with the aim of canceling sanctions, lack of trust and providing guarantees from the West, and this has made reaching an agreement at most impossible and at least difficult. The method of this research is qualitative and its approach is descriptive-analytical based on documentary-library tools.

Abstract:

Problem statement: Over the last 40 years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has always attempted to deepen the concept of “ Islamic Art” in painting to exploit it for reinforcing its conceptual discourse. Hence, some painting genres have been categorized as Islamic art. Such genres may be remnants of previous centuries (Miniature, Illumination, Golo-Morgh, New Miniature and Qahvekhane’ i paintings) or originate from sociopolitical events of the era with their idiosyncratic content and aesthetics. However, all of them have a similar representation in people’ s minds. Research objective: This study aims to identify articulated predications that convey Islamic meaning according to the regime’ s discourse. Research method: This study employed Laclau and Mouffe’ s discourse analysis as well as qualitative content analysis to identify all discourse elements of stated genres. Conclusion: The findings revealed that the genres of Iranian painting, traditional painting, revolutionary painting, and ‘ holy defense’ painting respectively have the following predications: 1) revelatory, mystical, and epic; 2) moral, spiritual, and divine; 3) ideological, propagandistic, and justice-oriented; 4) idealistic, value-based, and resilience. The said predications are centered on the pivotal discourse of the dominant power, i. e., Shia Islam; therefore, all of them can be categorized as Islamic art. In different conceptual realms of historic– civil Islam, each of the said genres, theological– didactic Islam, ideologicalsovereign Islam, and political-ideological Islam, has enriched other discourse predications and helped achieve different political goals.

Abstract:

The struggle for recognition is one of the reasons of conflicts in world politics which affects the behavior of international actors. National culture and identity are very important in the process of shaping a country’ s foreign policy discourse. Basic philosophical beliefs about the self-image of the country, perceptions of friends and foes, and assumptions about the history and nature of international relations shape foreign policy ideas and concepts. Indeed, Actors’ identity is formed through the recognition or nonrecognition of ‘ others’ and is constantly redefined by others. This article seeks to answer the question of what role identity politics and recognition policy play in Russia’ s foreign policy, especially in the Middle East. From this perspective, the escalation of tensions between Russia and the United States often involves the lack of recognition from the West for Russia’ s “ great power” status and equal partnership in the international system. The main argument of the paper is that the discrepancy between the “ great power” image and the Western image of Russia, along with the Russian aspiration to achieve great power status in the world order, has shaped the main narrative of Russia’ s foreign policy discourse. ...

Abstract:

Abstract:

Statement of Problem: The discourse of "Orientalism" is based on the views of Edward Saeed and seeks to authenticate the hegemonic strategies of the West over the East. This discourse has emerged in the fields of thought, research, art, etc, and has continued with the differentiation of the way of living, thinking, etc. between East / West, East / West. In such a situation, art, as a reflection of thought, it reproduces its identity based on this dominant intellectual space. "Orientalism" is one of the influential concepts in contemporary art, as the prevalence of words such as Oriental, Islamic and Iranian art and architecture in art history stems from this concept, which is based on a strategic view. The West has been achieved through the projection of the concept of the "other. " Research question: The research is based on the main question: What effect has the Orientalist discourse had on the architecture of the Pahlavi era (first)? Research Objectives: At the beginning of the Pahlavi era, the presence of Western artists and architects or educated people in the West in the field of Iranian art and architecture became important. This article seeks to explain their relationship and the prevalence of nationalism in Iranian architecture as part of the dominance of Orientalist discourse. Research Methods: The research depends on Saeed's theoretical and critical approach to "Orientalism", and at the same time relies on Foucault's re-reading of "discourse" in order to recognize the role of dominant discourse influenced by institutional power, and its representation in artists-here architects-has it. Lukács also looks at the theoretical concept of the connection between "Totality" and "mediation". The most important findings and conclusions of the research: Architects [Godard and Markov] each in a way, in the middle of the dual and the rules of reading history (derived from the discourse of Orientalism) are placed. In relation to Orientalism, it pursues other expectations (the West, or the East that looks at itself through the West),And reflects the types of Orientalist readings (Iranian studies below) from the academic to the imaginative point of view, based on the pervasive institutions of power, which are based on the distance between the two worlds,Western (not geographical, cognitive, rationalistic, rational, and enlightened) / Eastern (oriented, not geographical, as the subject of cognition, mythical, imaginary, strange). During this period, another historical tendency is reflected in the works of some, such as Nikolai Markov (representative of the Orientalist view of the Soviet Union). He stands in the middle of historical architecture by historizing and combining the effects of the history of different eras and lands. With a mixture of Orientalist and socialist discourse, Markov sought to homogenize the experience of forces and capital in order to achieve social ideals. Hence, relying on a kind of fusion of multiple (eclectic) beings, history has entered the realm of architecture. That is, by showing themes, elements, motifs, and backgrounds mixed from Byzantine, Russian to European architecture with expectations from the historical architecture of Iran,it has created an eclectic situation. Historical-archeology has played an important role in dominating, controlling, and cultivating the tastes of the masses, but Markov, through reconfiguration, presents a different picture of the masses' relationship, combining multiple and sometimes discrete layers and elements of Eastern expectations. Imaginatively, it reflects a new way of historical narrative. It was a critical aspect of the selective confrontation with history, which sided with archeology, Orientalist romantic expectations, and aroused the tastes of the masses.

Abstract:

current research is to critically analyze the discourse of world peace in the textbooks of the Iranian educational system based on the theory of identification by L& M. For this purpose, the textbooks between the years 1357-1392 (primary period and first period high school) have been analyzed. This article has been done with the combined method of analyzing the discourse of Fairclough, L &M and focusing on the following questions: What was the status of the world peace discourse in the educational documents of this era? What subjects are these educational materials trying to create? What role have the dominant political discourses in this era played in shaping the identity of these subjects? The findings show that the discourse of world peace in educational books and documents has been rejected due to the demarcation between Islamic and non-Islamic, internal and external. Power processes have tried to create militant and vengeful subjects with a military identity. The factor of persuasion of the subjects is the axiomatization of the ideologies of the revolution with an Islamic nature. Also, the educational content by inducing specific defense ideologies has formed pacifist identities in all individual, interpersonal, social and international dimensions.
